  • CLAY ANDERS - FOUNDER

    Clay is a Lincoln local who developed here. He knows firsthand about making mistakes in life. Having been incarcerated within the juvenile system as well the prison framework, he knows where he went off-base in his choices and pledged to form better ones. Presently he’s committed in speaking up for the youth that are at risk as well as the ones who aren’t, and helping them accomplish things they might of thought of as incomprehensible or unattainable, he is passionate about community involvement, knows it takes a village. “ it’s alright to make mistakes, we all do, no one is here to judge. It’s all about how you bounce back from it”

  • MITCHELL D. EVANS Ph.D. - CHAIR

    Executive - Director of Recruiting and Driver Development

    Mitch Evans leads the Marketing, Recruiting, Safety, Independent Contractors & Driver Development Teams for Hill Brothers Transportation and Hill Brothers Logistics, and Pro-Fleet CDL Driving Academy.  Mitch is a Veteran of the United States Air Force (Enlisted), Army National Guard (Officer) and served 9 years as a Lincoln Nebraska Police Officer.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. from Bellevue University.  Mitch specializes in business development, people training & development, and leadership.

  • TOM NESBIT - SECRETARY

    Tom Nesbitt is currently the General Manager of Diversified Drug Testing, co-owner of Nesbitt Investigations, and Nesbitt and Associates, an international security consulting firm. His extensive career in law enforcement and public safety includes a tenure as Colonel/Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.  Tom was on the Homeland Security Policy Group, he contributed to shaping critical security policies. Additionally, Tom served as Chairperson of the Statewide Communications Alliance, facilitating effective communication strategies across the state. His leadership extends to co-leading the Joint State Emergency Relief & Assistance Coalition.   Tom is a graduate of the National Executive Institute (NEI) of the FBI and has over 30 years of law enforcement experience. He served as the Public Safety Director for the City of Canton, Ohio, involved managing the police, fire, and building departments to ensure the city’s emergency preparedness and response.

  • ANDREW FISHER - TREASURER

    A dedicated professional with 30+ years of experience in the senior living profession as a licensed nursing home administrator, executive director, project development manager, Corporate Operations Director, and Chief Operating Officer for a leading senior living company with operations in Iowa and Nebraska. Educational background includes Master’s in Healthcare Administration, a Bachelor degree with an emphasis in health care administration, gerontology and business. Served 14 years in the U.S. Army Reserves achieving the rank of Captain. Specializes in providing strategic leadership while overseeing operations and quality benchmarks. Dedicated to excellence and quality in serving others.

    Tai’an Graduated from SCC with a business degree.  She currently is working for a property management company working as a tenant communicator.  She is in the process of getting a Real Estate License to become a real estate agent. Tai’an is joining the board of directors as the “Navigator”

Having graduated from Southeast Community college with her human administrations degree, she presently effectively looks for ways to create the move from youth hood to adult hood as easy and stress less as possible. “We ought to be able to breakdown any obstruction that might prevent a youth from succeeding”

  • Clayton Anderson

    CLAYTON ANDERSON

    Clayton Anderson is a retired NASA astronaut who has logged 167 days in space and 38 hours and 28 minutes in six spacewalks. He was launched on STS-117 and replaced Sunita Williams on June 10, 2007, as a member of the ISS Expedition 15 crew. He is currently an author, a motivational speaker, and a Professor of Practice at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

  • NATHAN MEISGEIER

    Nathan Meisgeier is the President and Chief Legal Officer of Werner Enterprises, a leading transportation and logistics company. Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Meisgeier joined Werner in 2005 and has held various leadership positions within the company. Before Werner, he was a litigator at a Kansas City law firm. Meisgeier graduated from Harvard Law School and holds degrees in Accounting and Economics from the University of Nebraska.
